Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
